"The Sabbath Recorder", Vol 57, No 9, p 143, Mar. 4, 1901. Lucettia Davis, daughter of Henry and Freelove Williams, was born In Verona, N. Y., Dec. 3, 1813, and died in North Loup, Neb., Feb. 13, 1901. She was converted when about ten years of age, and ever lived an exemplary Christian life. She loved God's Word, and found great comfort in reading the same. She was married to E. Randolph Davis Jan. 14, 1830. She was the mother of eight children, four of whom survive her. The church has lost a faithful and sympathizing member, the community a true neighbor and friend. She was a lineal descendant of Roger Williams.
