I believe my GGGrandfather, George MITCHELL, was born in York Co SC in 1790. Also my GGGrandmother, Phoebe Ann Miller was born in York Co SC in 1793. Her father may have been Richard Miller. George and Phoebe Ann were married in Marion Co MS, 23 Jun 1821, moved to Hancock Co and raised 10 sons...Are any of you York Co researchers familiar with these families?
