I am searching for information of Alexander Stuart-Stewart born abt 1706 in Londonderry, Northern Ireland. Tradition has it that Alexander was married twice first in Ireland second to a Miss Barber daughter of John Barber, Jr of South Carolina. Alexander came to America about 1758 before the Revolution and came to York District about 1768 from Lancaster County, PA His sons were Samuel b abt 1732 Ireland, Joseph b abt 1735, Ireland, William b about 1739 Ireland, Archibald b abt 1741 Ireland.
