My son-in-law's great grandfather was LeRoy Henry Lemons, b. 3 July 1907 in York Co., SC. His birth certificate, issued in York Co., SC, gives his parents as Thomas A. Lemmons and Sarah Hawkins. LeRoy later moved north, married and had a family and when he put his birth place on the Vermont birth certificate of his daughter, Marie, named Concord, North Carolina. All this really does is place LeRoy's parents in the south at the time of his birth in 1907. I am looking for any information, clues, etc., on Thomas A. Lemmons and Sarah Hawkins.
