Request assistance for information on a Jane Hamilton from York county born about 1764 and daughter of David Hamilton. Have some preliminary information which indicates that David Hamilton came to Pennsylvania from Scotland and settled in York county. Hamilton's Ford on Broad River may be named for the family. My info indicates that Jane married a Robert McCann from Anderson county about 1809 when she was about forty-five years old. This info also indicates she was a widow when she married Robert. Does anyone have any information on a first marriage for Jane, possibly to a Rosamon or Rosamond? Would also appreciate info on Jane's parents and siblings.
