Hi! Looking for information on Cyrus Iddo Burns, b. 1799/1800 in York Co. Father is listed as Samuel, no name given for mother. I found only one Samuel on a transcription of the 1800 York Co. census, and he does show male children under age 10. I've also found a Samuel Burns marrying Mary Ancrum in 1771; and a Mary Burns, widow of Samuel Burns, in reference to a Rev. War pension. Does anyone have any information on this family (or these families, if not the same)? I believe this is the same Cyrus (the middle name being unusual) who later moved to Tennessee, then Illinois.
