This probably won't help you, but my gr-gr-gr grandfather was John P. Boyd (~1799-1844). He married Nancy Wilson Patton and most probably lived in York County for most of their lives. Your Boyd and mine might have been brothers. A potential father might have been Richard Boyd who shows up in the York Co 1800 census, but that is real speculation. David Camp
