The Ebenezer cemetery directory shows N. M. Stukes, Dec. 1, 1849-Apr. 27, 1909 and that is the only Stukes listed. As for marriage records, I do not think there is one for Ebenezer or for any other Presbyterian church in York County. The only church in the county that was required to record marriages was the Episcopal Church and there was only one in the last century. The state of S. C. did not require that marriages be recorded until 1915. Newspapers are the only source and they placed only a small fraction of the marriages on their pages. Louise Pettus
