ANDREW BAXTER and VIOLET MARION BARRON were my ggg grandparents. According to The Pioneer, a Yorkville SC newspaper, they were married on St. Valentine's Day (Feb. 12, 1824). The Baxter and Barron families were prominent farmers and citizens of York District and then York County. If you have information on either of these families, I would appreciate hearing from you.
