Hi, My great-grandfather was Samuel David Moore, born in Appling, Georgia. He moved to Alabama and married Marguerite Minyard in St. Clair County, AL. They had a big family. He was in the Civil War and led quite an interesting life. I have written a story about his family, but have not actually completed it yet - still looking for more information. I have lists of children and burials, etc. The cemetery he and his wife are bured in has many other Moores, Moors, but some of the family there say they don't know if or how he relates to the rest of the Moores. If anything sounds familiar, write me and I will send you further information.
