I am new to the list. I am researching the Stephensons of Bullocks Creek in York County,SC. I am also interested in the families of Perry,Shields,Dickey,Montgomery,McClaren or McCleary,Hope,Barron,and Darwin. My Samuel Stephenson is said to have married a Mary Shields,possibly from York County,SC. His son,William A. Stephenson married Dolly Darwin in Madison County,Al.,who was of the Darwins of York County. George Alexander Stephenson married Elizabeth Sarah Perry in Giles County,TN. These Perrys might also have been from York. Any help appreciated.
