He is listed in the 1850 York Co. census as a Schoolmaster and his birth shows up in the Armstrong Bible. Does anyone know his connection to the Armstrongs ? Harris married Sara Pettus in York County July 8, 1824 by Rev. John Rooker, who was the founding preacher of Flint Hill Baptist Church, So I suspect he lived in that area. Also I would like to know who Sara Pettus' ancesters were.There were Harrises and Pettuses in the area near Flint Hill Church. Any Help tracing my ancestors would be appreciated.
