He married Martha Martin in 1800 (she was born in NC, probably Rutherford co on 17th March 1779). They had two children in SC: Anna Adaline (b 1804) and Martin Alexander (b1806), before the family moved to Roane co TN. I think that John Watson fought in the war of 1812 under General Carroll and rumor has it that John's own Father was killed in the revolutionary war fighting with the colonists. I need help! Thanks.
