Zou, Not that I know of but I only know what happened to five of the 10 children of Robert C. DANIEL and Penelope LANE, who we think were their parents, so TX is a real possibility. All of the ones that I know of (five) basically stayed in GAWGA but a lot of their later bunch and their collaterals moved to Waco, Dallas and even Glen Rose, Sommervell County, TX. These are the children of this Robert and Penelope DANIEL (who we think are their parents). We think they moved to the Keysville area of Burke County, GA from NC about 1812, so any child born before 1812 would have been born in NC. I know the disposition of Sarah, Nancy, Lucretia, Robert (my GGF) and James. The others, I do not have a clue what happened to them. I will tell you the 1999 MEADOWS book on the family of Capt. Allen DANIEL of Madison County, GA lists this family as the children of a David DANIEL (1742-after 1814) and an UNKNOWN but they do not have one bit of documentary evidence for that assignment, except a vague reference in the History of Elbert County, GA, which only "they" seem to be able to find. Most evidence, both family and otherwise, states they are the children of this Robert of Burke County, GA and this is confirmed by information from the VALLOTTON family. Milly DANIEL was born Mar. 9, 1795 iii. William DANIEL was born Sep. 3, 1797 iv. Nancy DANIEL was born Sep. 5, 1799 - (1799-1862) married a Richard ERWIN and a Frederick WISE v. John DANIEL was born Dec. 8, 1801 vi. Lucretia DANIEL was born Apr. 8, 1804 - (1804-1849) married an Allen TARVER. vii. Sarah DANIEL was born Feb. 20, 1807 - (1807- about 1860) married Thomas C. WISE viii. Robert W. DANIEL, Esq. was born Sep. 25, 1809 - (1809, NC-1865) married Martha MURPHEY, a Julia or Rachel and Mary Jane RENEAU (my GGM) in 1852 ix. Martha DANIEL was born Mar. 15, 1812 x. James L. DANIEL was born May 16, 1814 - (1814, born Burke County, GA -1857) married Mary MURPHEY and an Ann (1809-1861), possibly an Ann MCGAHEE. My notes on each of these are after the hyphen....
