    3. LOUISE, I suppose it is possible that because the article was actually in the North Georgia Journal (I wonder what city that is published in?), possibly those people are from Georgia??? It sounded like to me, at least one of the people were from York Co and associated with the York Co. Hist. Soc.; and it was sent to me as just York Co. Hist. Soc., without the 'Genealogical' part added, so maybe it was before they reorganized??? Anyone's help is appreciated. Thanks, Kathy Wells. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Louise Pettus" <lpettus@cetlink.net> To: <SCYORK-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, December 31, 2001 10:49 AM Subject: Re: [SCYORK] York Co Bulletin needed > Kathy Wells, > > I do not know about the particular article but can give you some > related information that makes this query a puzzle to me. This is the information : Francis 'Fannie' Houser married Frederick Boston. Fannie was born on April 3, 1815, York District SC, her parents were Nancy Fink and John Houser. Cynthia Houser was mentioned in that article and she married James Noble. She was born about 1817 in York Co. and is mentioned as being the sister to Fannie. Does anyone know about this article? Or does anyone have any information on the John Houser with daughters Cynthia (possibly known as Kathy) and Francis 'Fannie' Houser? > > thanks, Kathy Wells. > > > > Kathy & David Wells > > 425 Evergreen Dr., Hurst, Texas 76054 > > rebeltrumpet@sbcglobal.net > > > > My Homepage > > http://www.geocities.com/kathywells2002/index.html > > > > Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, Tent #1, Texas > > (Past President & Registrar) > > http://www.geocities.com/Pentagon/Quarters/7706/DUV.html > > > > Member of Mayflower Society > > http://geocities.com/texasmayflower/index.html > > > > ============================== > > To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: > > http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237 > > > ============================== > To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: > http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237 >
