I have found Jeremiah Perry in the 1820, 1830, and 1840 SC census returns. -20 and -30 in York Co., -40 in Chester. By 1850 they are living in Pontotoc Co., MS. In the household at that time are Philemon, 19; Frederick, 17; Nancy, 14; Rhoda, 12; Rebecca, 10; Temperance, 7; and Ruth, 5. All born in the Carolinas. However, these names do not account for the children enumerated in the 1830 and 1840 census returns. Can someone help me? It would appear that several of the children might have been old enough to have married and perhaps stayed in SC when the parents and younger children moved to MS. Any help would be appreciated.
