I'm researching the family of James Haire and Mary. They came to York from Antrim, Ireland around 1788. The 1790 census shows they had, if my memory is correct, 3 daughters and 1 son. The son, James Arthur Haire, was born a few months after they immigrated. He married Mary Brown McDonald, daughter of William McDonald from Chester County around 1814 and they moved to Monroe County, TN. I would love to know his sisters names. Also, James Haire had a sister, Martha Haire/Hair married James Crawford of York County. I'm interested in both families. Can anyone help me find a will for my James Haire? I think he died around 1812. Linda Atkins
Sorry, it was the 1800 census. Linda Atkins
