YORK, SC---Services for Jean Shipton Marrone, 55, will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at Gloryland Freewell Baptist Church, ROCK HILL, SC, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-9 this evening at Bratton Funeral Home. Ms. Marrone died Saturday, June 3, 2000. Born in YORK, SC, she was the daughter of Williard & Edith Sisk Shipton. She was employed as a waitress. Surviving are her son, Anthony Marrone of COLUMBIA, SC; daughter, Gina Marrone of CONNECTICUT; brothers, Williard Shipton of ROCK HILL, Eddie & Larry Shipton of YORK; sister, Della Branham of COLUMBIA.
