FORT MILL, SC---Services for Walter Edward "Buddy" Perry, 73, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pineville United Methodist Church with burial in Zoar United Methodist Church Cemetery. Fort Mill Funeral Home is in charge. Mr. Perry died Thursday, June 1, 2000. A native of Burlington, NC, he was the son of Walter E. & Lillie Miles Perry. He was an Eagle Scout, a graduate of Defray Technical Institute, and a retired engineer with WSOC-TV. He was a World War II veteran, serving with the U. S. Coast Guard and Merchant Marines. Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Perry; daughters, Sandra Wilson & Patti Cribb; sister, Annie Hansel; 4 grandchildren. [The State, Columbia, SC, Saturday, June 3, 2000].
