Have come across it in my research on the Lusk family over the years. However, I can give your some sources to research based on my personal knowledge in this area. 1) GenWeb for York Co., SC. Wills are online for Lusk and "Mccleland" surname. 2) Brent Holcomb has a book on Fishing Creek Church which may help. It is Session Records, Visitation Records and Churchyard tombstone records. I don't have a copy at my house to see if there are entries for your surname. 3) Holcomb and Parker's Chester County, South Carolina: Minutes of the County Court 1785-1799. No references. 4) Holcomb's Deed Abstracts of Tyron, Lincoln, & Rutherford Counties, NC: 1769-1786 and Tryon County, N.C. Wills and Estates has references. 5) Well's York County, South Carolina Minutes fo the County Court 1786-1797 has references. 6) I remember a blurb in the York County Genealogical and Historical Quarterly that mentions a "new" family history on this family in one of its issue. Without going through my stack, I can not give you an exact issue. 7) If you don't have access to this documents, Jean Fountain, a local genealogist for hire, can help you locate these items for you. Contact info on York County GenWeb. I have most of these sources in my personal library and know your surname of interest is referred to or not in these texts. Exceptions have been noted.
