    1. [SCYORK] Requst for census check(Hamiltons and some related families)
    2. Larry D. Hamilton Coats
    3. I have a Hamilton line in Lincoln Co. TN that appears to lead back to York Co. SC. These Hamiltons were settled along Kelly's Creek in LCT(some also just over the line in Giles Co. TN) and there is some evidence that some other related families liv. near them in LCT and that several of these family groups may have migrated together to TN c. 1805-11 from either York Co. SC or Pendleton Co. SC(Pendleton may have been a stopping over point). Not all of these surnames are in my direct line, so I can't provide much in the way of additional info. But virtually all of these names were settled in an area west of Blanche, LCT along Kelly's Creek(or so I have been told by others). I was wondering if anyone having ready and easy access to the 1790 and 1800 SC census could see if these names are found in close proximity to each other in York Co or Pendleton Cos. SC: STEPHENSON, WHITT, HAMILTON, BLEDSOE, FOSTER, HARRINGTON, GILMORE, RILEY, RENNICK, and BOGGS. Am particularly anxious to see if there are any Hamiltons and Bledsoes living close together in eith er of these two counties c. 1790-1800. - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Larry D. 3. Linda, I am looking for Stewarts in SC that connect with the Starr and Akin/Eakin/Aiken families. I am especially interested in an Arthur Stewart.
