Dear Elsie: I have searched for 22+ years for data regarding my ggg grandfather, William T. Thompson who died in 1838. He was a resident of Williamsburg County. However, he worked as an overseer on two plantations in Georgetown County -- Friendfield (which is now part of Hobcaw Barony) and Waites Point (which may have been in Horry Cty).
