Hi! I am a Stone desendant. I was born in Florence, SC. Most of my Stones were in Sumter Districe, Clarendon County. My immediate lines are: Wade Stone (b. 1800) m. unknown George McDuffy Stone, Sr.b. (ca 1832) m. Dolly McElveen George McDuffy Stone, Jr. (b. 1862) M. Martha Cochran Dayton Bryan Stone, Sr. (b. 1891)m Jessie Pack Dayton Bryan Stone, Jr. (father) I beleive that Wade Stone's father was Eusebius Stone, granted land on the Black River after the Rev. War. He faught with Richard Richardson. His father was probably Nicholas Stone. I think they were from White Plains, VA. Does any of this match your Stones?
