    2. To: mbarker, I have attempted to call Ancestry.Com (the 800 number) with NO LUCK. Even when Ancestry.Com put it in writing in an e-mail, that they would NOT CONTINUE TO CHARGE MY ACCOUNT, they have continued. My credit card company has been wonderful in crediting my account for the first two charges, but told me to save all my written information in case they need it legally. Some things situations like this are too large for one person to handle....it takes the voice of many in order to be heard. If anyone else has had this problem, let me know and I will put your message in the envelope that I plan to send to the Attorney General's Office and let them judge if this is a problem that needs to be addressed and investigated in order to protect the innocent public. I do not like being forced to fight at age 77 yrs old, however, I do have very strong principles on RIGHTS AND WRONGS, and most folks I know are just plain folks who loves to do genealogy research and are willing to exchange information freely, and would in no way charge nor cheat anyone of a penny. What I found in writing this to Rootsweb Lists, the Lists that gives our information to Ancestry.Com intercepted my letter and would not let it be shown on their lines. My PALMER-L refused to let my message go through. The others have been very accommodating and helpful. I am not attempting to stir up trouble.....I want to bring a serious problem to surface in case there are others facing the same problem. Just like newspapers that brings up a serious common problem, someone out there will notice it and the problems are resolved in a just and fair manner. Thanks for you help. Betty
