Wondering if anyone has any info on a Francis Marion ADAMS, born 1828 Union Co. to Martha "Patsy" Adams (unmarried). She also had 2 other known children: a son: J. Washington Adams b. 1831, (married Mary Ann Tracy) and a daughter: Caroline Adams- married Thomas Burgess. Martha was a daughter of Charner Adams. Court documents show she indentured Francis Marion to Landlot (sp?) PORTER, when F.M. was an infant and to last until he was 21 years old. Wondering if Porter could be F.M.'s father. I have court documents that name the fathers of her other children. BTW, J. Washington ADAMS - named above named a son Francis Marion - born 1859. Thanks, Lisa
