    1. [SCUNION] GADBERRY Family of Union, Spartanburg and Laurens County
    2. We know that this family was in this general area of SC in the early 1820s and later, but any traces of them are hard to come by. We would be grateful for any scrap of data in which this surname is mentioned. Dover2 Mississippi

    3. HI, I don't know if you are interested in a paid researcher or not, but I do research in this area of SC. I live in Toccoa, Ga, but can travel to Greenville, SC, where I have access to the deeds and estate records, with indexes, of Spartanburg and Union Counties. I also have access to the deeds and indexes of Laurens Co., and there are some estate records of Laurens, but I don't remember for sure just what those were. I would have to check on those. Have you checked all these sources for records of your Gadberry family? The Greenville Library also has the State Land Plats for the state grants that were given over the entire state. If I can help you, just let me know, and I'll send you my rates. I'll be happy to help if I can. Good luck on your research. Take care, Bunnie Gilmer At 04:29 PM 4/28/2002 -0400, you wrote: >We know that this family was in this general area of SC in the early 1820s >and later, but any traces of them are hard to come by.
