I have found a grave inscription in Mississippi that reads born in Newcom Dist. SC Nov 27, 1792. Anyone know where Newcom is? The inscription is for Lavina Hamilton who I think is the daughter of John Hamilton and I think she was born in Union District SC abt 1800. Can anyone help?
