    2. Jim Allen
    3. Greetings, I am researching the John BOYD line in Union County. Supposedly John BOYD arrived in Union District before the Revolutionary War with a land grant from King George the 3rd on Bushy Creek. He came from Ireland with wife and some children. Wife was Jane Barnardoe, or various spellings. Have some info and will share. Many thanks, Jim Allen "The past is never dead. It's not even past." William Faulkner. Searching: Allen, Boyd, Hollingsworth, Palmer, Pratt, Story, Watts.

    3. Allen, my gggrandmother was Jocie Boyd. She married Warren Landreth, and somehow that name was changed to Landers. I don't know anything else really about her. she came from the area of Easley, Pickens, Dacusville, etc. SC. It seems like she had a brother Walker Boyd. I also have a picture of her. it is rather faded a bit. do you have her listed in your Boyds? thanks Reba ----- Original Message ----- From: Jim Allen To: SCUNION-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Thursday, October 09, 2003 1:57 PM Subject: [SCUNION] Roll Call - - - BOYD Greetings, I am researching the John BOYD line in Union County.
