Hello, I'm trying to find some information on my Gordon ancestors. I just recently found that I desend from a Benjamin Gordon, and his wife Mary. I have that Benjamin was born about 1765 in Newberry Co. S.C. He and his wife Mary had three children that I know of. John C. Gordon b. 1788 Union Co. S.C. Thomas Gordon b. ? Union Co. S.C. He moved to Upson Co. Ga. Elizabeth b. 1793 Union Co. S.C. I descend from Elizabeth, who married a William Virden or Verdin. She died about 1870 in Upson Co. Ga. I believe the Virden's or Verdin's were also from Union Co.S.C., and migrated to Warren Co. Ga., and on to Upson Co. Any and all information would be greatly appreciated! Thank you very much!
