Looking for Miles SMITH in Union County SC. He married a Miss COOPER (given name unknown). They had at least four children: Cora born about 1868, Elizabeth or Lizzie born about 1870, Walter and Clyde. Death certificates of both Cora and Elizabeth state they were born in Union County SC. In 1937 Elizabeth was still living in Union SC and was married to a WILBURN. Walter and Clyde SMITH were living in Kings Creek (Cherokee County) SC in 1937.
