Hi Lisa, Have you run across the name William W. Duncan who was raised in Union, SC. I was told he was a state or local legislative representative. He was my grandfather and I can't find anything out on him other than he married my grandmother, Ethel Miriam Ashford, and he committed suicide on Christmas Day back in the late 1890s.
