The first thing I did was send a couple of dollars and asked for a copy of the index page for the surname I was researching. I gave them a time frame. I did not tell them I was doing genealogy. When I got the index I ordered the page numbers I wanted. Genealogy was never mentioned. Has the LDS microfilmed SC records? Karen Smith
