I have a Jones line in what is now Union and Cherokee Co. SC. Simuel Seymour Jones was sometimes called Simuel and other times called Seymour or "Seemer", but it is the same man. Simuel is on his tombstone, so I put that name first in my database. We think that his parents or a close relations were William (bef 1765-1819) and Nancy Jones of Union Dist SC. In William's will, his property was left to his wife and when she died to his heirs. Seemer and a Jesse Jones were at William Jones' estate sale in 1819. I am looking for the ancestry or any connections to this Jones family. Susan Descendants of Simuel Seymour "Seemer" JONES Generation No. 1 1.
