Greetings! I am researching the Boyce family from Union County, S.C. Back in 1998, someone e-mailed me some information taken from a book called "South Carolina Marriage Records", as she quoted.  I don't know if this book contained specific marriage information for Union County, S.C. or for the entire state.  Is anyone familiar with this book?  I haven't been able to locate it. The information that was quoted from this particular book was concerning an indenture between Dr. William Bobo, Martha Rosanna Boyce and John Boyce involving slaves, that turned out to be extremely useful in putting together my family tree.  This indenture also involved a forthcoming marriage between Martha Rosanna Boyce and John Boyce of Union County. So glad I kept her e-mail.  Also, if anyone has this book, I would so greatly appreciate a lookup!!! There supposed to be four notes (from this indenture I believe) concerning Agnes Boyce and four notes on Alexander Kerr Boyce.  I am very interested in the contents of those notes, and any for David Boyce.  Also, I would like to verify the date of that indenture between Dr. William Bobo, Martha & John Boyce.  Hopefully, there's an index in the back. I think I have looked at the book and if I remember right the book I saw only had general information about all of SC. Next time I go over to the library I can check out something for you.
