As ya'll may have noticed, we are not getting posts from the Rootsweb Message Boards. That's those messages that begin: "This is from a message board that is gatewayed to this list." I don't know what is wrong, I set them to accept and within ten minutes they are unset. If you have stopped monitoring the message boards because you are depending on this service (which is waht it was all about to begin with), you might want to start checking them again until this glitch is worked out. I will notify you at that time. Just in case we have newcomers who don't know what I am talking about, RootsWeb has message boards for each U.S. County and surname. Just go to www.Rootsweb.com, go down the page and see the message boards links. You can enter the surname or locality that you are interested in. You really should have a look if you have not already done so. They are now requiring you to register to post a message and some folks have refused to do that, so traffic is slower than it formerly was.
