Does anyone know anything about the JOHN DAVIS who made his will in 1826 and it was recorded in 1830 Union Co? I am interested in his daughter Martha PRESLEY and son JOHN DAVIS. The young John Davis may be my ancestor - he married Rachel Greer in probably Laurens Co about 1822. Her parents died in Tallapoosa Co, Ala and CALVIN PRESLEY witnessed their wills. Could this be the Martha Davis Presley? I would love to hear from someone who might know this family. Janice Craft
