Dear Wig listers, An update on the status of our broken list mode is long overdue. We have pushed for answers but just keep getting patted on the head with "the engineers are working on it." Please know that Crawford, Bruce, and I are very frustrated and fed up. I've tried alternative ways to reach Rootsweb but no luck, so we're left with our one help desk contact -- the "listmaster", who turned our problem over to the Rootsweb engineers on 21 Feb. According to our contact, the engineers are still working on it, but no details are forthcoming. Pressing for answers has gotten us nowhere. Ugh. For two months, we were the only affected list. But recently the INDIA list admin reported that his list mode died, and now ENG-WILTSHIRE has done the same. I'm trying to use these lists to escalate our problem with the Rootsweb engineers because it's no longer just us. All of you are saints for staying subbed to our list while this is going on. Thank you, thank you for not bailing out on the Wig list. We WILL get past this! Your patience keeps the Wig list alive.
