You are correct Bruce in saying that Stewart's croft was on the right hand side after the village of Glenluce and before the viaduct I don't know if the cottage which still stands there was part of the Croft.  Kirkstyle was the original name for Church St. in the village of Glenluce, it was the name used in living memory and it is not known why it was changed.
