So, my connection is John Wallace and Elizabeth Campble (or Campbell) giving us James b. 1805, and after he married Ann Wright in 1858, they had a son John born in 1859 who married Sarah Simons and then everyone moved to Canada.  John/James/John and their wives are all either from Portpatrick or Stoneykirk.   I haven't been able to go further back than John and Elizabeth so far, but I'm still new at this.  Each had brother and sisters, and most likely everyone is connected at some point, but I haven't run into your family yet.  I'll keep working my way back, and someday, perhaps we'll find a common ancestor.
