I am not sure if I have replied properly but Balsarroch is a ruin (farmhouse?) about 2 miles due west of Kirkcolm in the elbow of the B738 road where it does a sharp turn to the left or to the south. I am not sure if there are any other places called by the same name. Donald Main.
