She remembers her and said she came to the rest home in 1990 and died in 2006. This Gladys had the same birthdate as the one we are interested in and seems to be the same women. This women at Pilgrim Manor also gave me two Stepson's names, one a Paul Almstrom and another of a Richard Clave, which I will contact. I did not have the obituary of William but have seen the names of his sons and daughter of a previous marriage. It seems that Gladys came to the rest home from Jenson Beach in Florida. Why to Connecticut from Florida is not clear, but may be from her marriage to this Gilbert. I was not able to get his name as Gladys came to the rest home as a widow in 1990 so was there 16 years in all, pretty fascinating stuff.
