Mr Thomas Rae, parochial schoolmaster of the latter place. He had travelled in a taxed cart to the Ferry, and having crossed the bay in a boat, had walked homewards in the evening by the moss of Cree, near the Grange, where his body was found lying in the middle of the road next morning.
