LACEY, Thomas - M26/2/1855 - At Sorbie on the 26th ult., by the Rev. E.K. Sloan, Mr Thomas Lacey, Wigtown, to Miss Mary M'Guffie, Bladnoch. DEATHS LAURIE, Jean - D6/3/1855 - At Bridge of Aird, parish of Inch, on the 6th instant, Jean Laurie, aged 21 years. CAMPBELL, William - D4/3/1855 - At the house of his son, Laigh Float, Stoneykirk, Mr William Campbell, at the advanced age of 99. He retained his faculties to the last. Deceased was for many years tenant in the farm of Toskerton, Kirkmabreck, and Float, was respected by all who had the pleasure of his acquaintance, and bore his illness with Christian fortitude and resignation Friend at a distance will please accept this intimation. (Note- William Campbell died on 4th March, 1855 and his remains lie in Kirkmadrine Churchyard. WILLIAMSON, Gordon - D3/3/1855 - At 54 Carter Street, Manchester, on the 3d instant, Gordon, third son of the late James Williamson of Sypland, Kirkcudbright.
