On my HYSLOP tree, two tragedies related to the sea occurred in the one family: PETER HYSLOP, born April 12, 1837. Died at sea 1858 (No month of death.) I then have a notation that he is burred in Auchencairn Cemetery, Auchencairn, Kirkcudbright. His brother: GORDON DUNCAN HYSLOP, born October 3, 1848, Auchencairn, Kirkcudbright Died at sea January 2, 1875. QUESTION: Is there any place where one could find out the circumstances of their deaths at sea? Would they be fishermen? PETER HYSLOP and GORDON DUNCAN HYSLOP were the sons of: : JOHN HYSLOP*** 1788, Collin Mill, Auchencairn - 1875, Shuttle Bank, Auchencairn, Kirkcudbright GRACE THOMSON 1802, Kelton - 1882, Shuttle Bank, Auchencairn, Kirkcudbright. Any additional information on the circumstances of both deaths at sea would be appreciated. Maisie
