    3. Have found this paper out of sequence with no name on it, its surely a photocopy gotten for a request that was never sent.....how could that happen ? Don't answer.... There are only 4 Marriage entries on it, so I'll post them here and hope the person who requested from me is still with this List ! 1856 and 1857 Births, New Luce OPRs [not Civil Registrations, this clerk continued with OPR books] Wright & Stewart : James WRIGHT residing in Airtfield, New Luce & Ann Jane STEWART residing at Balmesh, Old Luce, were proclaimed in New Luce Parish Church upon Sabbath the 21st and twice upon Sabbath the 28th day of September, 1856 in order to marriage and no objections offered. Nov 21st, 1856. This day John COBRAN and Agnes LINDY, both of this Parish gave in their names for proclamation of Banns in order to marriage, and are to be 3 times proclaimed upon Sabbath 1st thro the 23rd inst. The above parties were regularly proclaimed upon Sabbath the 23rd Nov, 1856 and no objections offered. James JARDINE, residing in the Parish of Coundon, Durham, England and Mary McKENZIE residing in this parish refularly proclaimed in the Parish Church of New Luce upon sabbath the 22nd day of Feb, 1857 in order to marriage and no objections have been offered. [margin entry says "23rd Feby 1857"] Thomas BAIRD, residing in the parish of Inch and Ann BOYD residing in this parish were regularly proclaimed in the parish Church of New Luce upon Sabbath the 12th day of April, 1857 in order to marriage, and no objections have been offered.
