Hi All, I am back again, still looking, tho I got lucky enough to make contact with a cousin 3 times removed and she had done her tree, (she lived in the area) she gave me quite a lot of information about my family. The reason I am telling you all this is to say keep on trying you might be surprised. I have some actual certificates thanks to Wayne's guidance and am having fun. I have a few copies of the DBM's that were put on line back in, I think 2005 is there a way I can access these? Are they in the Archives? For new members my Withers side is from Kirkcolm which are the ones I got help with, I am still trying to get info on the Goldies, Margaret Goldie was living at The Cottages, Dunraggit in 1929. Anyone who knows anything about this family I would love to hear from you. Also I am still trying to make contact with Withers's, May, b abt 1932 Margaret b abt 1944 or John Withers b abt 1960, they were all in Sandhead in 1969. I visited them before leaving for the states.
