    3. Hi Frances I hope you had a good Xmas and New Year, and that Fife isn't getting battered by the gales as badly as we are here in Glasgow. I enjoyed your adverts, and was intrigued to find that my great grandfather was not just a watchmaker and jeweller, but also dabbled in the music trade. There have been generations of accordeonists in my family, including my father's cousin Eddie Copland who was regularly on the Saturday Evening Country Dance slot on the radio with his Kelvin Country Dance Band. Now I know which family branch it started off in. You have even motivated me to do something similar with a wee booklet in my possession which is entitled 'The Wigtown Burgh Directory, Guide & Almanac 1912'.
