Does anyone know what the "Wigtown Ploughing Society" was? A farmer's service organization, perhaps? It is likely that A. LAIRD of Torhouskie, the vice president, was School Board member Andrew LAIRD (see my previous posting). He was my 2nd cousin thrice removed. Guy I.
