Hi Kaaron If you join the Dumfries & Galloway Family History Society- you can check their website- http://www.dgfhs.org.uk there are really helpful people who will do look ups for you- there is an agent in Australia who will send you a wee booklet every quarter with helpful genealogy stories. I have been a member for a couple of years and I think I pay about CAN$25 a year- so it's not much- but it is worth the money.
