Hi there list. I've hit a stumbling block in tracing a family tree line and have run out of known options. I have had a family of Thomas Kerr and Mary Kerr (nee McKay/MacKay) who were living at High Ardwell, stoneykirk. He was a retired ships master and was in 1841-1851, an Inn Keeper and farmer there. He was 62 years old in 1851 and his wife 59 years and born in Ayrshire, according to the census. He had five children in order of birth: Elisabeth Hamilton KERR, 1834, Mary Kerr 1835, Alexander (in IGI records) but Thomas KERR in census' 1840, Margaret Helen KERR 1844 and Victoria Kerr 1847. All were born in Stoneykirk at High Ardwell or Ardwell Inn. I can not locate any of them in 1861-1881 census', no marriages or deaths in 1855-1900 statutory records and can't see them in the UK census at all either. I checked Australian immigrants, as Thomas' son, John came to Australia with his wife and family in 1852, but no luck there either. Looked at US census and some Canadian but nothing that stands out. If anyone can locate them or suggest any further ideas, I'd welcome the suggestions. Many thanks in advance. Kind Regards, Jim
